An alert was issued this week for 51-year-old Cherolyn Mobley, who is wanted by New York State Police and the Town of Lewisboro Court for charges stemming back to a larceny investigation in September 2012.

Police said that an extensive investigation determined that Mobley had stolen an estimated $10,000 from handicapped residents at an unspecified group home. She is wanted on a third-degree larceny charge.

Police described Mobley as a 5-foot-7 African American woman with black hair and brown eyes. She weighs an estimated 190 pounds. Anyone who recognizes her or knows of her whereabouts have been asked to contact state police in Somers by calling (914) 769-2600.
